Inaugural Post

Hey Jimmy!

This blog is just for you. As the library's liaison for science and math, you are one of the instructors that falls under my area of collection development. With this blog, I hope to push new astronomy and physical science titles your way for you to evaluate. When you come across something that you'd like to see us purchase for our collection, you can simply comment on the post, or send me an email.

Additionally, if you'd like to post to the blog then please do so. I will check all of my collection development blogs regularly, with rss feeds via bloglines. If there's anything you want me to see, and you're interested in familiarizing yourself with the blogger interface at the same time, this is a perfect opportunity. I will send you the username & password in an email.

Let's get cracking!

And finally, there is enough at this Harvard site to keep us busy all year. An astoundingly exhaustive list of print and electronic resources.

Okay! Let's start with the Observer's Sky Atlas and Endless Universe. The other one looks a little above most of our readers.
